I am a passionate planning, public policy, and design professional working to make cities more equitable and striving to make the built environment more sustainable. I have worked with a variety of organizations with a wide range of experience in all aspects of planning from transportation planning to economic development to sustainability & green building.

Most recently I worked for the SF Municipal Transportation Agency as a Transportation Planner. Within the Project Delivery team I helped to develop practices for a project management system and helped launch the system to the Sustainable Streets Division. Previously, I managed the bicycle parking program where I exceeded goals by 50% in six months, installing over 700 bicycle racks. In addition, I launched a new program merging public art and on-street bicycle parking facilities by installing the city’s first on-street mural. I also developed new systems for collecting field data and mapping assets using ArcGIS and building a custom mobile application and online map.

Before working at the SFMTA, I was the Program & Design Manager at the SF Bicycle Coalition managing the education and safety program and serving as graphic designer. Major projects include: the redesign of the organization’s website into a mobile responsive user-friendly interface; expanding the driver education program to large vehicle operators and shuttle providers including Genentech, Google, and Recology reaching over 1,000 drivers; and designing and developing marketing campaigns which included billboards, bus ads, bus shelters, and fundraising campaigns.

In addition to my advocacy and planning work, I have over 10 years of experience as a freelance consultant. Clients I have worked with include the SF Housing Action Coalition, the Vision Zero Network, and the City of Oakland Department of Economic & Workforce Development among others.
